Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Succless (“Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Succless.

2. Description of service

Succless is a private tool for engineering managers to track meeting notes, action steps, and observations about their direct reports over time. The Service includes AI-generated suggestions that are presented as drafts for your review — they are not decisions and should not replace your own judgment.

3. Accounts

• You must sign in with a valid Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You may not share your account with others or use it on behalf of another person without their consent.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

4. Subscriptions and payments

• Access requires a paid subscription after any free trial period. Pricing is shown at the time of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel at any time via the billing portal in your account settings.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your payment details.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at hello@succless.com within 7 days of a charge if you believe it was made in error.

5. Your content

You own the content you create in Succless (notes, meeting records, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the Service. We do not share your content with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Prohibited uses

You may not use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Store information about individuals without a lawful basis to do so (e.g., GDPR requirements in the EU).
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the Service.
• Use the Service for any purpose other than legitimate people management within your organisation.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. AI-generated content is provided for reference only and may be inaccurate.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Succless shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. We will notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing law
