Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Succless (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a software tool for engineering managers. Our service is available at succless.com. Questions about this policy can be sent to hello@succless.com.

2. What we collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

  • Account data: your name and email address, provided when you sign in with Google.
  • Content you create: meeting notes, action steps, team member information, and story entries you write inside the app. This data is private to your account.
  • Billing data: subscription status and customer ID, managed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers.
  • Usage data: basic server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) for security and debugging. Not used for advertising.

3. How we use your data

  • To provide and improve the Succless service.
  • To send transactional emails (account, billing).
  • To process payments via Stripe.
  • To generate AI-assisted suggestions using Anthropic's API — your notes may be sent to Anthropic for processing. We do not use your data to train AI models.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Third-party services

  • Google OAuth— authentication. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Stripe— payment processing. Governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Anthropic— AI features. Your content may be processed by Anthropic's API to generate suggestions.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery.

5. Data retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription and request deletion, we will remove your account and associated content within 30 days. Contact us at hello@succless.com to request deletion.

6. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Your notes are stored in a private database and are not accessible to other users. We apply industry-standard security practices, but no system is completely secure.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@succless.com. If you are in the EU or UK, you have additional rights under GDPR/UK GDPR.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. We will notify you by email or an in-app notice before material changes take effect.
